Journaling is the practice of paupers and kings, little girls and old men. The most famous journals belong to authors, politicians, prisoners and pioneers. It is a practice open to ANYONE. It's how people have recorded their lives, loves, journeys, struggles and victories. It can be a vehicle for making notes about the great novel you will write or as simple as a way to keep track of spending. Your journal can also be a deeply sacred place for healing your soul.
This is the beauty of journaling - it’s personal. It can be adapted to what you need when you need it. And there are NO rules.
Whether you have journaled religiously every day of your life, dabbled here and there, or have NEVER touched pen to paper in this way at all - there is something within you waiting to be discovered and this workshop will at the very least plant those seeds of awareness.
In these 90 minutes together, we'll explore the deep joy and personal benefit of journaling I have found over 40+ years. We will walk through the benefits and challenges of journaling, explore different styles and purposes of journaling, and do a couple of exercises to guide your exploration.
